Anacamptis laxiflora


Inhabits wet meadows with alcaline soil.
Spherical tubers.The stems are 30-60 cm high, in the upper part they are colored in purple. The leaves are upright, linear-lanceolate, wide at the bottom, pointy at the top, without splashes. The inflorescence is lean, cylindrical, up to 25 cm long. Consists of many purple flowers. Sepals are elongated, the lateral curved back, and the central standing upright. Petals are shorter, oblong. The labellum is almost round, trilobed. The middle part is clearly shorter than the lateral that are curved downwards. Longitudinal the lip has a lighter line, usually without or with very few pale spots. The spur is cylindrical, pointed upwards, at the tip is slightly wrapped.
This orchid flowers from April to July.
