Dactylorhiza saccifera

Perennial herbaceous plant. The tubers are deeply separated, flattened and finger-like. The stem is 25-80 cm high, with 5-16 lanceolate leaves, dark green, located along the stem. The inflorescence consists of 15-80 flowers, conical, slight fragmented to medium density.
The flowers are pink. The upper sepals and the side petals gather in a helmet and the side sepals are wide open, outward curved. The labellum is trilobed, the middle part is as wide as the lateral, coloured with lines and dots. The spur is large (10-15 mm long) and sacciform.
Dactylorhiza saccifera blooms in June. It is pollinated by insects.
